RKR Bina Sdn Bhd established in 1981, is one of the leading Bumiputera Civil Construction Companies registered Class ‘A’ Bumiputera Status contractor with Pusat Khidmat Kontraktor (PKK), the government’s classification and registration body. With a ‘G7’ contractor certification by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), it is 100% owned, managed and controlled by Bumiputera with an accreditation by MS ISO 9001:2015, MS ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 Quality System.

RKR Bina specialises in civil and building constructions and has successfully undertaken numerous government and private projects. Quality is the company’s prerequisite in every aspect of works as evident by the company’s past track records in the construction of roads, road-over-bridges, river bridges, residential, industrial, commercial buildings, drainage and sewerage.

Its management system is based on the team oriented approach with state of the art computers and management information system using mini computer (IBM AS/400) with fully integrated software of JD Edwards. For project planning, scheduling and management techniques, project management software like Artemis / PMOC and Primavera are employed in its daily project implementation and operational controls. The efficient management of resources, materials, skills and time, have enabled early completion of projects within the parameter of cost and schedule.

Abdul Rahim Achmed ~ Chairman

has more than 20 years of experience specialising in business strategy, industry development, globalisation of services, civil and building consultancy for various conglomerates.

In 1994, he joined RKR Bina as an Executive Director spearheading both Construction and Property Development businesses. He manages clients, consult contractors and authorities, oversee projects as well as source and secure potential lands for development.

He is currently involved in the planning and implementation of property development aspects.

In 2009, he was appointed as the Managing Director of RKR Bina and effective May 2016 as Chairman of the company. His areas of expertise and experience include logging, property development, construction, trading, shipping and more.

Mohd Khalil Dan ~ Managing Director

has accumulated varied and extensive experience in the field of road and building construction, operations and maintenance. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree from The University of New South Wales, Australia in 1988.

Prior to joining RKR Bina Group in year 2016, Mohd Khalil worked with both Private and Public Listed Companies such as Rafulin Group, UEM Builders Berhad, PROTASCO Group of Companies, MTD Group of Companies and PROPEL Berhad.

To-date he has gained work experience totalling more than 30 years with his involvement in conventional and privatisation projects locally and overseas across countries such as Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, UAE, Syria, Morocco, Sudan, Senegal, Ghana, Mali, Namibia and South Africa among others.

With his extensive experience and expertise, he is appointed to manage RKR Bina Group’s overall business and operations.
